Im due to have my baby in August. I will be schedulaed for a C-section (my third ceserian). Lately Iv been having this knowing feeling that Im not going to make it to my scheduled date. So lately iv been checking my cervix regularly. Everytime the doc has checked my cervix he will tell me its high firm and closed. Well today I checked and my cervix was really really soft. So soft that I was having a hard time telling if it was my cervix or not. Its still really high just really soft now. What does this mean? Will it change back to firm? Is this normal or should I be concerned?

you should not be checking your own cervix, that is not sterile or safe especially in pregnancy
chances are you are perfectly fine, dont stress yourself out. if youre super concerned call your doctor
